Parents! It’s Time To Nominate Teachers/Staff/Volunteers – Deadline: Thursday, May 23, 2013. Each year our PTA presents the Golden Apple Award to a teacher and/or staff member who has provided outstanding educational opportunities for the children in our community that are beyond the normal scope of their jobs. The Golden Acorn Award is given to an individual in recognition of exemplary volunteer service to children and youth in our school community. Both awards are given for continued and dedicated service. This is an excellent way to honor our teachers, staff and parents for their contributions to our community.
To nominate a member of the Sunrise community, complete forms that can be found in the PTA bin on the counter in the office or print the golden apple and golden acorn forms here. Completed forms can be placed in the Golden Acorn/Apple envelope in the PTA bin. Our Awards Committee will choose recipients from submissions received. Deadline for submissions is Thursday, May 23rd.
