To celebrate Lunar New Year, February’s Teacher/Staff Appreciation lunch will be
“Favorite Asian dishes”. It will be hosted by the Sunrise 1st Grade students. The
items can be purchased at Costco, Trader Joe’s or homemade. You may have other
ideas for this theme, so there are extra sign up slots for those creative and talented
cooks. Please sign up for an item(s) to contribute to the luncheon. You may also
choose to send a monetary contribution towards the luncheon in lieu of signing up for
an item. This money will go towards the purchase of items that were not signed up
for or to supplement the luncheon. If you choose to do so, please place your
contribution in the Teacher Appreciation lunch envelope in PTA bin by Monday, February 10. Please
bring your food items to the staff lunchroom by 10AM on Thursday February 13. Thank you in
advance for your contributions. The Sunrise staff looks forward to these monthly luncheons and
appreciate all you do for them.
